That's a great offer Sometimes great way to get into hunting ,chasing goats. When I started out they were the target a lot of the time. I am sure somebody will take you up on the offer.

19 year old newbie checking in Would love to get some goats...! Employer is very flexible so all I need is a date and I'll sort it out with him. How about over Waitangi? All I need to be home for is for my Police physical on the 19th. Cheers

By law, you are required to turn on your headlights if it's raining in Sweden.

How the hell am I supposed to know if it's raining in Sweden?

    New here.
Why young? Is there a lot of chasing/running in goat hunting?? Or are you trying to get youngsters into the sport? I would fall into the not so young class (52)
    Define "keen" in Kiwi speak.

I am planning a trip to the south island in Jan or Feb of 2019. I'd like to hunt something, just don't know what yet. This is a family holiday that I will be able to sneak away from for 2-3 days.

Hi there cowboybart i dont run or chase goats sometimes i let my dogs bail goats for me but normally just shoot them they are just a good animal to take newbies out on so they get to shoot something gut it skin it then cut up. Keen be willing to walk and walk up hills and do your share of the jobs around camp and walk some more . I would take you out but iam in the north island

    Hey there Sometimes
I am a newbie all right. Not to hunting in general, but to the hole southern hemisphere. I am a 62 year old Danish hunter who would love to hunt for goat or any other species for that matter. However, I will not come to NZ until march, but my plan is to stay for 2-3 month, so there will be plenty of time for any hunt. I am also very keen on meeting NZ hunters who are willing to help a fellow hunter and take him "under his wings" so to speak. I dont now a single person i NZ but it is a life long dream of mine to come to hunt in NZ.
    Best regards
