That's a great offer Sometimes great way to get into hunting ,chasing goats. When I started out they were the target a lot of the time. I am sure somebody will take you up on the offer.

Why young? Is there a lot of chasing/running in goat hunting?? Or are you trying to get youngsters into the sport? I would fall into the not so young class (52)

I am planning a trip to the south island in Jan or Feb of 2019. I'd like to hunt something, just don't know what yet. This is a family holiday that I will be able to sneak away from for 2-3 days.
Hi there cowboybart i dont run or chase goats sometimes i let my dogs bail goats for me but normally just shoot them they are just a good animal to take newbies out on so they get to shoot something gut it skin it then cut up. Keen be willing to walk and walk up hills and do your share of the jobs around camp and walk some more . I would take you out but iam in the north island :)
