Thread: Any surplus venison out there.(North Canty)

I supply the local food bank with Venison Mince on a regular basis. It's all above board, I've gone through all the hoops, and know the rules. I have purchased a commercial mince to make the job easier. So, I'm on the scrounge for any Surplus venison trim, that is sitting in your freezer, not going to get used before it goes bad, and you would like it to go to a good cause.

Gc we do the same down here with food for love just a shame about all the red tape I know ppl that have had to cull 100s of deer off property's but to much red tape to do anything with them so have been left to waste on the hill

Ive raised this with NZDA as a policy issue. Making it easier to donate directly and not having to fly under the legal radar and feel guilt for something that is doing good.

If you can harvest the deer, and get the meat frozen down, I can handle as much as you can deliver. Drop me a line if you think we could sort something out.
