Thread: Anybody here from Wanaka or Queenstown. Can you please help.

I've been in NZ for over 32 years and hunted all over including the Raukumara & Stewart Island. I am now in my late 60s and cannot do hard hunts.

I will be in Wanaka for 3 nights in September and was wondering it would be possible to shoot some hares and rabbits for fun. Anything else is a lotto win

I am not sure if it is worth taking a rifle. It is almost 20 years since I enjoyed a day of rabbit shooting in Central Otago.
