Question Anyone driven up Rangitata/Havelock recently?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has driven up from Mesopotamia recently and can comment on the condition of the 4wd track after all of this rain recently. I figured there may be some significant washouts, especially at the base of the creeks. Looking to get up past Growler. Flick me a pm cheers

Ring Mesipotamia station a call 036963738 - they will be able to give you an update. They recommend not driving up if the Rangitata is flowing over 100cmecs (its currently flowing at 615cumes)

Might be a bit of a wait for it to get down to 100 cumecs. Its chugging at present, and seems to be a long protracted event this winter. Suggest you get hold of Prouts and fly in, or wait a few weeks.............or longer.
