Definitely going in the nxt year or so myself but I want a big whitetail buck from the great plains as well.
I have a mate sorting it in BC and will hopefully get a moose with him as well.
Alaska is a must for work or hunting in the future.
Its definitely on my list of must do's in the next few years. Not this year, possibly next year though. I have a sister in law in Canada, so I'm sure I could talk the wife into a trip there, and happen to go hunting at the same time...

Will give you a ring in about 3 weeks when I'm home.
Maine is another option for Moose (just been up that way- nice place), but the heads are bigger in Alaska, and Bears are usually free (except Grizzly)
Will be seeing an Outfitter for a hunt in Texas next week so will have a chat to him then also.
am planning to head to alaska sometime next year for some salmon fishing and a whitetail/mulie if theres a chance

I hunted in Texas last week - waiting on the outfitter to come back top me wioth more details as its not hos usual area
There are a heap of good guys in Alaska - I have friend sin Maine but havnt checked as to guides.
Alaska Yukon heads are bigger

I didnt bring mine back this time with me as already had 75kg more stuff ( I blame it on the Mrs and shopping :) )
Have to decide if I'll mount in the US and ship, or ship back here and get iot done locally
