    Anyone keen to tag along?

Next weekend (11/12) Im heading down to Piropiro shelters in Pureora. There was a few others coming but its just down to me now as things come up for the rest. Im going regardless but the sensible side of my marriage has concerns about me being out of communication by myself for the weekend lol. She wasnt satisfied with my plan of getting friendly with some lycra clad mountain bike ladies.

So If anyones keen to come have wander round in the scrub with a GC Id be happy to have ya along....might even put a feed of veni bangers on

Which one is 3? the last time I was there we stayed at the first one hard right from the entrance, it seemed in better nick than the one further down but didnt have a look at the one on the left as it was occupied

Was thinking of Clements Mill or Galatea, weather dependent of course

Take a good size tarp and rope .
close off the shelter and will be warm as toast.
Get yourself a emergency beacon it calms the minster of finances right down.
    Great spots down there .
    good luck
    Love walking my gun
