Back in the days quite a few cullers believed that a cheaper brand of scope was more practical at the end of the day. They got the shit hammered out of them, especially on Thar work and like a bic lighter they were discarded when poked.It was cheaper to buy another scope rather than replacing an expensive one.
The early Tasco was quite popular. Eventually down the line and when the pocket was bulging the money was spent on a much classier scope.
