i have a longtrac, so i suppose its close enough, it is in 270. only had a few rounds thru it but it is very soft to shoot as it is a gas semi, very accurate, light, well built. it ticks all the boxes.
    100% recomended

Yep have one in 243. Like Greg says, very nice rifles. Wood on mine is like new condition, so I don't get it out very often. Keep an eye on tardme, theres usually a couple on there, and they sell cheap.

I have a wood blued Shorttrac in .308, had it for the last 4 years. Great shooter, comes up well and shoulders nicely, makes for a very nice bush gun. It shoots .5" at 100 all day long with 150g Sierra Pro Hunters and 47gr 2208, albeit running a little slow. Makes for a cheap day at the range...as long as you don't loose too much brass, because boy does it throw them!

I have a mate who is now dead keen on one since playing with mine, they really grow on you.
