i know its the season for chasing stags but iv got the itch to go chase some tahr and chamois, im located in timaru and will be looking at doing anything from 1-3 nights so if anyone is keen it'd be good to have some company for a yarn etc.

april isn't a bad time to hunt the cham iv busted quite a few this time of year down in creek beds , pretty sure having a decent feed up before winter arrives ?

Is this a good time of year?? I'm planning a trip for 2019. Maybe late Jan/early Feb, but I can bump it to March also. Looking at mostly the South Island. Might get up north, but only for 2-3 days of sight seeing.
Are you available for mid week trips or do you have to book in annual leave?
