Anyone willing to give a guided hunt in the Ruahine?

    Hey guys,
I have been hunting small game for a couple of years now, and would love to have a guided hunt around the Ruahine area. I would like to go out with some friends/family, but they are neither experienced nor interested in hunting deer. My girlfriend wanted to give me a guided hunt as a present for my birthday, but after looking at some options on Trademe, they are either too expensive or not really what I am after e.g going into a paddock and shooting a deer. I would love to learn how to hunt, especially from an experienced huntsman and I’d appreciate anything that could be offered.
Being a tertiary student we aren’t cash strapped, but please let me know your price for taking me out hunting. It only needs to be one day e.g go in the morning come back in avro.. I am free around late Oct period, around 25th-1st November.
    Cheers,
    Nick

Thought it would be part of the guided package when he was suggested anyway.
You get a discount for being mummy😆

You will probably get some good bugger take you out for nothing but a beer and a pie.

Apart from a few professional guides I know, you will likely learn more going onto public land with a person that hunts for the table anyway.

even after a hunts course you will likely need some guidance as it I'd a basics stepping stone. Sometimes one on one action (settle boys) is way more effective. Don't get me wrong if you can afford the course then do it to top up what ya don't know.

On a side note I am happy to help also. I don't live in the area but happen to spend some time up there lol maybe in conjunction with @BRADS ??
