    Ok then....

    Part 6 .... Day 3

So I get up from a restless sleep on the sofa again , but an uneventful night .
No camera to check so no idea if anything happened while I slept .
Had an uneventful day just knocking around greymouth with my mate and generally trying to keep out of the house .
So back to the house for teatime feed and park up in front of the telly .
Now something a little odd happened that I didn't realize until later . It's Sunday night and I am not planning to leave until Monday night to be home for work Tuesday morning . I rode down on my bike , FZR 1000 , and carried my stuff down in a pack .
But for some reason , and again I didn't realize this til later , I had packed all my gear up like I was leaving and stacked in next to the sofa . Don't know why . But it did later strike me as an odd thing to do.... especially as I had no real reason too .
But anyway .... So I was on sofa facing ranch slider and my mate was on other sofa facing towards table etc . About 9 pm .
I started getting ' the chills' and my hair started standing up which I mentioned to my mate . He said he was getting the same feeling .
    'it's coming' he said .
So for the next 15 minutes or so we are sitting nervously , warily looking around the room but trying to ignore the growing feeling we weren't alone .
My sofa was backed up against the wall with my head a matter of inches from it .

Something scratched the wall right next to my left ear......

I just sat there paralyzed and squeaked to my mate what had just happened ....
    I heard it , he said .... It's here
I was freaking out and so wanted to get the hell off that sofa but was to scared to move .
Then I swear something touched me on the shoulder , then , for want of a better description , felt like something passed through me . I don't know how else to explain it . I told my mate and he told me not to move and keep my eyes open .

Within seconds of him warning me , there was a noise like crackling electricity and right in the middle of the room a red ball of light flashed on , crackled and fizzed and writhed for a couple of seconds , then flashed out .

That was the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced !

Fuck , he yells , it's pissed ! Get out!!

So we bolted out the ranch slider out to his car in the driveway .

    Then the banging started .

It sounded like the house was being destroyed from the inside out .

That's the second most terrifying thing I have ever experienced !

So we got the fuck out of there at warp speed and drove around aimlessly , crapping ourselves and doing our best trying to get a grip , chain smoking and wondering what the hell just happened and what to do now .
We ended up parking up down the port , trying to convince ourselves that we weren't loosing our sanity.......

I hate to say it ... But it doesn't end there

    To be continued.....
