    Barlow River tahr block

Have drawn this block for the 4th period. Anyone got any photos or general info about this block they are willing to share?

    Cheers.

Where is the landing site S? Is it near the main river or have they allowed it further up?
Very good block if they have shifted it.
It is a dark block due to having Mt Adam to your west but holds a fair few animals.
There was a nice stag downstream about a km up from the main river.

Landing site is up towards the head of the Barlow, just where the scrub stops by the look of the map (@ about 1,040 m asl). Cheers for the Intel

Yup all good there mate. They shifted it from when I worked in the area.
    Need a cook?
No BM to hound it either and too far for the blokes from down south to bother.
Good period to get it as well.

If ya take me instead of Abe you won't wake up with memory loss every morning Ha Ha
It's a good spot for sure mate.
Big bulls from the catchment north will filter in there by the 4th period.

Hey Josh, Jim will be talking about Bubble Creek I think. He has drawn it at the same time that I'll be in the Barlow. His block is in the head of the Landsborough

    Oh right!
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Bubble is not a bad block either. Thats according to a good mate that guides for a living.
There are only a couple of the balloted areas I wouldn't go if I got them.
They all have the chance of producing big bulls.
