Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    An excellent start.

Seriously, take your time, do a lot of reading of old threads, ask questions if you need to.

If you haven't already, buy a .22 rifle and a small mountain of ammo, and take time to practice marksmanship. After that, a .223, and stretch your shooting distances. Wait awhile before you buy a bigger cannon.

hi, there was a guy on here called @rickychen who could have helped you out. Some of us formed a posse and lynched him for fun one day so he is no longer available for helping.

I assume you’re interested in hunting deer. Read all of Lentle and Saxton’s books, and get out as much as you can. Statistically, a lot more deer are shot in the bush than at the keyboard.

Welcome along beginner hunter. All the above is excellent advice especially the bit about going outside, but are you aware that hunting kit, rifles, binos and scopes, ammunition, reloading gear etc is addictive and expensive probably better for your wallet if you take up knitting or macrame like me.
