Just get to bed tonight around 10;30 , and the bark of a stag gets my attention , then another and another , for fucks sake cant I get any sleep in my own house , pretty close sounds like about 50 meters from the back door in the native , will have a crack at him in the morning before work :pissed off:

How do you know it was a stag? Stags generally don't bark ... hinds do :ORLY:
Umm. Yeah they do but I wouldn't be able to distinguish the difference, other than a stag generally has a quicker tempo than hind when spooked.
But they don't generally stand around barking like a hind does
Big emphasis on generally. I have heard/seen stags bark but not as much as hinds.

thanks Rushy , as you can see theres plenty of cover for them , been barked at for years but haven't shot anything behind us, 800 meters to the left is a grass patch visible from the kitchen window, shot 5 stags up there this time last year over a space of 3 weeks
