Yea they good. It will be heavier than your plastic one now but rigid with bedding block.

Just wanted to bump this too the top... Also what is the deal with getting one out of the states, could I bring one in my checked luggage on the plane without permits?
Someone local sells them. Heres one seller Deadeye Dicks - Stocks
This is how it looks on 300 Win Mag and man it changed the whole gun. Well worth it. Slightly heavier for good reason.. Its solid as ...
that looks mighty fine happy. thanks for that
They are sooooo damn good, my t3 is an entirely new beast. On the win mod 70 they came standard for a while. I have just tried to order one to upgrade my mod 70 and it will take nearly a year for it to arrive. Stocks in general are in high demand at the moment.
Addicted to gun powder
Hi i put my Parker Hale 30-06 in one not long ago. I got mine through Craftys in Hastings. Not sure where he found it but Dave is very helpful. Give him a try.
Just got one for my T3 7mmRM. Dropped straight in. Not a lot of clearence around the barrel but still floating. Groups the same as before, but now holds the same impact point off the bipod, bags, and off the day pack with a sling. This is a big improvement. A little heavier than the original plastic stock, but this is not a bad thing on a magnum.
My father pimped his 7-08 tikka with one and as others have said it changed the whole rifle, i reckon it points nicer and again as mentioned by others is far more rigid, the difference in weight? I'd liken it to a wood howa or a weatherby vanguard, so a bit more weight but as a trade off your shoulder won't feel it as much. I've got a b&C on my weatherby 308 and i used to flinch on a 7-08 but as yet can shoot tight groups... just goes to show what abit of hardening up and stock design can do for ya! thats my 2 cents anyway! hot barrels and stay safe during the roar
