Best place for a meat hunt.

Hi All I am looking at going to a place where I can guarantee to get my first deer at a cost. Any ideas and what are the costs ? Cheers John

The thousands of hectares of public DOC land, I can gaurantee there are deer there. The costs will be your time and your determination. Unless there is a special reason like disability and you need quad access don't buy a deer for your first one, it will take away from the moment

I agree with you on that Pointer. Johno paying for a dead certainty on your first deer is like paying for a hooker for your first root.

Dont do it man, it wont even help your hunting ability, Just keep hitting the doc land and work hard for it.

Even farm access will take away from it being your all important 1st

Johno I'll step forward since my first comment was a little direct. If you are serious about your first deer, I'll take you out. I can't help with the root though
