    Big arse pig

Now I am no expert on wild pigs or pig shit but I came across this today and it looks like it has come out of one big arse pig. 308win for comparison.

Either that's one big pig or he's been saving that one up for a while.

    Go get him @Shearer

    Could be a hard carry

    Cheers

It's within 7mmRM range of our house so if I did come across him he would get a ride home on the tractor. I saw some fresh rooting Wednesday evening when I took the 17HMR for a walk so went back for a look this arvo (with a bigger rifle). That's when I came across the dodo. I found where he is getting through the deer fence too so will keep an eye out for any more fresh sign

Camo up and lay in ambush til the bugger comes back. That is a lamb eater for sure.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I have occasionally come across big big pig shit (not as big as that tho!) and thought it may have come from a sizable sow that has had that end well stretched by many litters of pigs?
just a theory and have never found a clear fresh print near one(poo) to gauge size.
I hope you get it and post up a pic or 3

Yeah. That could well be the case. As I said I am no pigologist. The paddock is covered in deer mark but what I did recognise as pig print (mostly in the rooting) looked pretty sizeable. Only one way to find out for sure eh.

A pile of offal at a know range could be very useful in this situation.
