What is extra cool about this animal is that it is not from farm escape genes or behind wire which has messed with nz records a lot . just shows what a bit of good tucker can do .

And a bit of age always helps too. I have just sent the jaw away to be aged so will be very interesting to see how old he is.

I might also hesitate to add lack of hunting pressure in the area where he was taken versus the more popular blocks.

Man @Huntn, you must have sh*t yourself when you bumped into him on the hoof! What a ripper, well done.

Big Head Taken on Stewart Island..?

Well done Huntn. That's a fantastic Trophy, and due reward for sticking it out in all weather.

The deer are where you find em...!!

I think you know what he means....
There are plenty of awesome reds coming out - not too many Whitetail? (which were liberated directly, have had no game management applied and something like this pops up....) I'm going to assume you're happy for @Huntn - and not just being a cunt.

I have been called that last word a few times, so draw your own conclusions on that.
