    To me it looks like an early farmed animal. The weak treys suggest a bit of imported blood as generally Fiordland deer have good to excellent trey's in those 'typical' heads. As little as 8 -10 years outside will have it looking like that.

    Wapiti heads with red influence have strong brows etc. If its from a very early Wapiti from Fiordland there might not be much red in its pedigree.
    Overkill is still dead.

    Correct about the 8-10 years. Had a couple of fresh casts look like that by easily 8 years.
