Orange Blaze
Blue Blaze
No Blaze
Those blue tops have got strokes of black on them,i haven't seen any tops that are a straight blue.Council trucks back in the day were blue as it was a contrasting colour to the conditions they were working in.Using the colour wheel blue should stand out more as it is across the wheel from the oranges.
Personally I would only wear orange blaze if I was bush hunting in the roar on public land. The rest of the time I'll be wearing camo
Depends on the hunting. If I’m out hunting deer or thar etc I wear camo or green. If I am on a group roo drive everyone has to have at least an orange hat. To be able to be seen above the flaxes and tussocks during jump shooting. The blue camo sticks out like like dogs balls to deer.
berg...the last TEE shirt I bought from the green mafia is a real mix and match of material colours the guys I hunted with while wearing it say it stands out like doggy danglies. sleaves are different colours and body is in 4 quarters all different...now if the buggers would only put a collar on them I would be stoked, they have finnaly got a v in neck so it doesnt choke ya but need collar to keep sun off and stop rifle sling from rubbing.
interesting watchin NZ Hunter the other night with them down in fiordland chasing waps...two of the guys were wearing blue tights/leggings/thermals didnt seem to stop them getting close enough to see deer in open conditions.Ive got a pair of "bees knees" thermals I bought 20 years ago that Ive shot probably 15 deer while wearing...... cant be all bad.
not sure how this has gone 8 pages long & im not going to read it to find out but unless no blaze forms a coalition with blue or orange its game over
The Green party putting the CON in conservation since 2017
Wasn't that many years ago a guy got shot standing in his sleeping bag outside his tent. I wear bright orange blaze, it makes me feel safe when I see how my hunting mate stands out in it.
Sunday morning I was sound asleep on bushline in small clearing under a blue tarp with my faithful hound tucked in beside me...07;00 and she growls and give a couple of quiet whoofs ,two fellas were stalking through clearing they must have shit the bed and left vechile at 0sillyhundred to be there...if pooch hadnt whoofed I reckon they still wouldnt have seen me. it really made me think and realise you are never alone in an area...had I got out of bed half n hour earlier and moved 3-400 yards up hill and down to my favourite lookout spot they wouldve stalked up thinking they alone and been looking down to where I wouldve been sitting and they wouldve been expecting to see a deer........
