    blenheim area hunting

    anyone know of any spots to knock off a few goats? been up patriarch but not too much around, even any farmers that want a few culled, we just need to keep our skills up till we can get out to try for deer/pigs, also any good spots for deer/goats lol? cheers guys

    Few years back I worked up in QCF out past Port Underwood, a lot of goats and pigs up there, it was managed by Matariki/Rayonier at the time, not sure what the deal is now but it might be worth looking into.

    yeah weve been up there a few times,seen a lot of heavy pig rooting and although it looks like prime goat country-weve seen none lol, infact only saw 2 rabbits. came across a possum trapper last time who had been up the branch side for 6 weeks,said he heard 1 roar and saw no deer for the whole 6 weeks. will head up again one frosty morning and glass the rocky cliffs I think, cheers
