    Which book?

    Ok guys that hunt deer and have read these books- which one should i get?

    Stalking the seasons round or-

    The New Zealand deer hunters handbook

    Reading Red deer in Nz at the mo and finding it great, very informative

    the two Lentle and Saxon ones have a lot of good info I reckon, read all of them. Borrow from the library and save you $ for ammo

    Stalking the seasons round is a great book to have around.
    I love all animals.........especially with gravy

    Paroa, my ammo tends to gather dust, and i don't think i'd return such a book to the library, i'm better off buying it...

    save the ping for a couple of boxes of beers then, can't see them gathering dust, well they don't in my house anyway :grin:

    Red deer in NZ (or something like that) by lentle and saxton should be compulsory reading for any NZ deer hunter.

    I got that one a while back, reading it now... very good book, think i'l read it again after i finnish it

    This one is a good read. Give's you a good overview on Reed Deer.
    Mind you I still find doing the miles more helpful.
