Thread: Branch/Leatham 4WD and Hunting

I think you are about right with 15 m3 flow. I was up the Branch a few weeks back and the river was very low (about 5 m3 from memory) and that was shin deep.
There is one creek crossing about half way to Greigs hut that is getting a bit sketchy. Steep drop into it and a bit of a hole developing at the bottom. Took me a couple of goes to get out of it last time I was in there in my SWB Mistral. If you go to Greigs (nice hut to stay in) you can carry on up Mt Morris to the tops (I saw a good Chamois buck up there a few weeks back) or carry on up the river to Siberia or Bottom Misery. Some nice fish in the river if you fish.
Can't help with the Leatham sorry. I haven't driven up there for a year or so but Wye creek is worth a look. Not far to drive in if the river is up.
