    Breaking in the city gal

The Mrs. is a good sort, but being a north shore gal, a little soft.

She tagged along on a prior hunt where we watched a few pigs feed on a deer carcass shot the week before, but due to unfortunate circumstances, no pigs were harmed in the making of that production.
This weekend, 'She who' came back out, and a young stag was tipped over. I was expecting her to view the cleaning process from a distance with bemused horror, but after I had pikau'd up the hind quarters, she proceeded to throw it on her back and march back up the hill! No squirming or complaints whatsoever. Could have blown me over with a feather!
No bad for someone 6 months out of the SuperCity. I'll have her converted to country hick in no time!

She is not on her own out there
The Mrs is a Papakura girl. Quite enjoy getting away with her as she is always keen to get her hands dirty and give anything a go.

    Good to see Sako75!

It's cool to see someone open enough to adapt to a new environment. Not because it's a hobby of yours, but because they are genuinely interested.
Splash I thought the same thing, I generally hunt alone also. But having been hunting with her a few times now, she is never any trouble - not that she normally is - and I can honestly say it's pretty cool taking her out. I'd never break the unwritten rule and bring her on a boys trip but for a nice day hunt shes bloody good company.
And now that she carries deer shes welcome anytime haha!

My Missus loves the comforts of home but she also loves tucking into venison. So she lets me do my thing and has the home fires ready when I get back.

Is Mrs Sakko57 reaming out that deer or is she just looking for your Landy?

And please, talk us thru, hopefully with pix, "she is always keen to get dirty and give anything a go"///?????
