Time flys, about 10 years ago two off us did a Tahr cull there in the summer, at that time we camped at the bottom end of the Romping water lake, there is no lake. I think the new camp is down the main river above the tarns in Bubble creek itself. Animal sign was well spread throughout the block, although we were looking at spring as well as winter sign. If there is reasonable snow, my picking would be the north faces of Rubicon torrent, Romping Water and around below Beith Glacier. The going below the later is good going and you can swing back around below and head back to camp on that same level. Depending what the hunting pressure has been, the animals could be below in the scrub and you could catch them coming back up for a feed. Generally getting around the block is easy going but those north facing face would require shooting from the creek beds and catching what fell down. Between the Romping Water and the Rubicon you can without to much difficulty, climb and get above the bluffs of the Rubicon, which could be handy for getting animals which climb out, you'd need someone below to give them a reason to climb out!!
Enjoy the trip, it's great country.
