    @StrikerNZ. Got the buck done. 30" tail.

    Checked back through results from previous years and looks like it would have to be a 36"+ tail to get the job done.

    Planning to do another one after the next trip?

    Absolutely.
    I am sure the tail shrunk when I tanned the skin too.
    Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
