Mine was a big moose and Saskatchewan whitetail. Dont think I will do the moose after helping kill a few. Sort of lost the desire to hunt one for myself.
I have been promised a whitetail tag in Saskatchewan by my next employer and can fill it instead of wages for when I am guiding there in November. So will definitely jump at that chance if I can get back over.

I’ve only got 2. First is plains game in South Africa primarily aiming for a big Gemsbok. Was meant to do this trip in 2014 but the old man spoke his words of wisdom and ended up buying a house instead. Probably for the best as it was going to sting me just over 20k for what I wanted to do.

And lastly I’d love to head to Canada and chase Moose.

Weird I know. I still love hunting them. That will never change. I honestly can't put my finger on why but have no longer a desire to shoot one myself. That may change.

Has nothing to do with size as I still have to deal with them for clients.
I will probably never take another Bull Thar or buck chamois in my life either. They would have to be ginormous and old for me to consider it. Still love hunting them tho.

Within NZ would be a core Wapiti Block, Stewart Island whitetail and a Tahr Ballot. Hopefully on the cards for the very near future.

Overseas it would currently be a hunt in the US for Elk. There’s a full range of other north american game I would love to hunt in my lifetime but we will see how things go.

My great uncle hunted all over the world and wrote a number of books. I grew up reading about all of his exploits.

For me: Alaska - Moose, Caribou, Dall Ram and Rocky Mountain Goat
Africa - Kudu, Gemsbok and Buffalo

Chatham Islands would be cool. Also Water Buffalo in Australia

Dreams are free, these trips sure as hell aren't

Always liked the idea of hunting something that could quite easily kill you if you fucked it up. It would add another dimension to the stalk and especially to the importance of shot placement under pressure.
