    Bull stags?

Was up the Oteake last week and saw three young bull tahr bedded up and feeding right next to four young stags. Like within metres of each other. Was midday and they looked dead calm. Wondering if this is super unusual or not? Have been kicking myself all week for not taking the camera

Yeah I've seen stags and bulls hanging out. They don't seem to be bothered. Should have shot the bulls, Oteake is outside feral range for tahr

Cool thanks that makes me feel better about the lack of camera but not the tahr. Was a sightseeing trip with the partner but will swap her for the rifle next trip

Take her with you and get her to shoot them!

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.
