    If animal was very close to branch it probably wore shrapnel... It's always been said heavy n slow preforms better in that scenario but testing has shown it's always a gamble. PERSONALLY I use big heavy blunt round nose for bush hunting...so far no issues if put in right place and yes I have shot through shrubbery...with definite positive id and just scrub covering vitals.
