Thread: Bush stalking the first deer

Was stoked to get the text from the younger bro @Dominator that he’d got his first deer. I’d taken him out a few times and got him onto some goats. & I’d taken him out on one trip to one of my favourite spots to try nab him his first deer (that trip resulted in us seeing a few deer and me bagging one with a longer shot, but unfortunately wasn’t able to get Dom behind the trigger on one).

He’s been putting in the hard yards this year getting out regularly, so this was a well earned deer. And to top it off it was all done off his own hard yards, on DOC land, on his first time in this block, & in bloody thick bush. Cracker first deers.
