yup- i thought so, thanks for confirmation mate- just tryin to make a few last minute back up plans incase my initial planned spot doesnt hold enough oppertunitie for the 10 days ive allowed.

some closer by areas have ok access tracks to walk in on but no huts to seek refuge in, ive got the forecast written down but im sensing that NZ is fairly uncertain of what its guna do from one day to the next
