    Cameron Hunting Block

Anyone been into the Cameron lately? Is it any good or are there better hunting blocks to go to in the area?

    Cameron Hunting Block

Went there about 10 years ago. It's a nice block. No one has mentioned it in hunting mags for a while so would have less pressure than Manson and back ridge.
If my work annoys me, I cull them

I'd imagine you are referring to the Cameron Hut on the Ngaruroro or do you mean the Maori block on the other side leased by Helisika?

Sorry should have made that clearer. Cameron hunting block near Makarora- mainly after Chamois but I would not say no to deer if one happened to cross my tracks

Would the Wills be worth a weekend hunt? I assume anywhere around the hut gets a fair bit of pressure?

Not that many people go into the wills, great hut, one of my favs, big flats, good old fashioned kiwi track on the way in, about 2 hrs to the hut, easy access to the tops plus glassing from flats, well worth the weekend hunt, small 2 ring pot belly stove,
