Thread: Camping/hunting essentials

Howsit team,

Me and three others are planning a trip down the south island next year, getting choppered into a block and will be there for 5-6days. Theres no hut so will need tents etc, have never been down there as we're from the top of the north island, its been on the list and finaly getting around to ticking it off. Just after some advice on some of the camping/hunting essentials youd need or good ideas to make things easier. Any advice or suggestions wil be much appreciated.

A good wind proof tent and mybe a spoting scope.

toilet paper and a can opener first aid kit

Xtra fly to cooking upder and chaning from hunting clothes to camp clothes

wind proof outer layer of cloths, bit of poofter pad to park ya bum on while using your good binos to find game and most importantly a plastic bag to take rubbish out with you and a small spade/entrenching tool to bury your shit.
