    Angry Canterbury Helicopter antics

Just come back from a few days in the Canterbury foothills feeling pretty pissed off..

After a rather long day/night we set off in the am on the last climb up to a face of interest to us, only to have a dark blue R44(?) no numbers or writing, come roaring over the ridge, hover above the face as they watched the animal run for the bush then buzzed down the valley and over the next ridge..
Obviously leaving us PISSED! But also wondering what the hell they were up to?

    Scouting for animals?
Pre WARO run to check numbers?
    Joy riding?

or just out to ruin our hunt as thats how it felt...

It has rego numbers on it, theyre just a very similar colour to the fuselage...

The sum of the coprime counts for the first 29 integers is 270
270 is a sparsely totient number, the largest integer with 72 as its totient
Given 6 elements, there are 270 square permutations[3]
    10! has 270 divisors
270 is the smallest positive integer that has divisors ending by digits 1, 2, …, 9.

Dev, were the doors off it like it was hunting? Are you sure it was a R44? Sounds like they were just having a look around as chopper pilots like doing....... I've been buzzed a few times over the years while hunting, not much you can do about it.

There's a certain Waro guy who runs a blue 500 with blended rego but he wouldn't have let the deer get away.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!

Pretty sure I read somewhere that they can't fly under a certain height unless it's during take off or landing on public land or is it a CAA rule. Unless doing something like WARO? Could be wrong

Only seen the left side of it and the doors were on, how ever it was hovering with its right side on the face, the way it was moving we first thought it was shooting.. and nah not sure if R44 only just taken an interest in choppers now... after a google id say yep it was a 500.
Was actually a cham, but we were mainly heading up there for a stag a mate has had his eye on since last roar....
