Question Central Nth Island hunting lodge for work function

Hi team. I have been asked to look into options in the Central Nth Island for a customer function around hunting/clay bird shooting/4wd, etc. would be for a couple of nights. Can be remote and happy for it to be a bit rough, does not have to be high end.
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers Dave

Poronui. May be pricey though, but they have the variety you seek.

Check out trade me. There’s a outfit down Taumarunui way that might be able to help. Or Treetops....?? Rotovegas way.

Did a work do at Taupo a few months ago, did suppressed clay bird, trout fishing charter and kart racing.

Stayed at the Hilton and just had a van take us from place to place.

Did the karting and shooting first so we could start having some cold ones on the boat.
They cooked the trout for us at the Hilton that night for dinner and we had a great evening.

Lots of other activities there too? You could stay at any of the places?

So this might be out of your price range then?

Did a work trip there years ago. It is outstanding!
Thought I'd post up in case anyone else has a big event coming up and want to do something a bit different.

    Check this place out too

Was going to have my 40th here but Covid fucked it all up.

Great price and has pretty much everything you want.

Some great places out there but jeeze the pricing is up there, even going out for a standard claybird shoot can be expensive
Grouchy Smurf had it right all along...

Depending on what you want the Te Urewera Education Centre popularly known as the “Lions Hut” could be a cheap option for you
