Thread: Chamois Hunting South Westland in June

Does anyone have any experience hunting Chamois Bucks in June or later into Winter?
We just got back from a May trip and though we saw Chamois, none of the bucks we encountered ever stopped to present a shot, they were too busy chasing Nannies around. We also saw far less animals than in February at the same spot.
Wondering if we are better off trying later in June. I'm after a Winter cape trophy, have already shot several in summer.

Hmm, different world in that country in winter. Unless you have experience in snow and on ice you may have a tough time of it.
