    Changing coat

Was watching a young red hind last night and noticed that she was already changing from her winter coat, she had a clearly visible dorsal stripe and you could see a line just along the top of her ribs and around her rump where shorter darker hair was replacing the drab grey hair.
Seemed a bit early as normally I dont see it till the end of October round here - sign of a mild winter maybe??

I have had one for the last twenty plus years Marky. They are a good coat.
