    Cheeky Fallow

Went down the range at tea time, coming back, broad daylight about 6.30pm, two young Fallow boinked out of the paddock, crossed the road, bounced over the fence and stopped for a look about, I had to laugh, so I decided to get a pic cause they just looked like they owned the place so backed it up and got the phone out, no cover for miles, they pushed off further into the paddock, but not flat out in disappear mode, shot is deceptive they are only about 50m away blame my phone. Busy provincial highway in broad daylight.

you were very restrained..GOOD ON YOU for being wise in your "less young" years....the days of popping off roadside deer without permission are gone.

awesome photo reguardless of phone quality.

On a similar note. Yesterday I was in my cabin/office at home sorting out hunting gear for a trip this weekend, two rifles out as I'd put a few rounds through them earlier in the day. Looked out the door and 50 metres away a doe and fawn standing under the macrocarpas. I see deer a lot at our place and don't shoot them but they are taking the piss being that close.
Trout, Micky Duck and BSA270 like this.
