If you think the grass is greener over the fence,it might be due to the leaking septic tank.

Did you see it shooting/ hauling carcasses? Otherwise possibly counts or hut inspections

Do you know if it’s with Doc? I feel if it’s independent of Doc it will just be a waste of money.

There is an App that you can get on your phone which shows you all the aircraft, that are using it, in the area and their flight paths. Dont ask me how why, when or what cos I aint that technologically savvy [whats an App] but somebody should be able to enlighten us. Have seen it working, when Alpine and others were bombing up the National Park at the very same time as the Tahr Jam

Flightradar 24, I've noticed it doesn't show all light aircraft only ones with transponders(?)

There are no DOC tahr monitoring flights in the Ahuriri this year. MU1 & 3 only which doesn't include the Ahuriri. No idea what that helicopter was doing.

Between now and early May, DOC will use helicopters to gather data on tahr populations on public conservation land within the South Rakaia/Rangitata and Gammack/Two Thumb management units. The helicopters will fly at low levels across various sites in the management units.
