    Christened the new 284

End of last year I purchased a new rifle from this forum - a Tikka 284 bushpig.
I got away for a few nights between Xmas and New Years into the Ruahines, checking out a new spot. Seen a cracker stag for the Ruahines which i didn't get on the deck, but I did manage to blood the new rifle on a young stag in the bush.

This was the only occasion in quite some time that I've done a bit of filming on a hunt, just haven't really been feeling the urge to get the cameras out, then also took a further 2 months to edit the footage! But was good to sit down and put something together again...

Nice going, plenty of animals about. The big boy will certainly make you want to return soon.
