    chronic wasting disease

just reading up on the stuff as it spreads around the world its confined to the cervidae family but it would take very little to slightly change the type to infect sheep n goats,,so where am i going with this??i bet the filthy greenies are right now scheming of ways to introduce the disease to our beloved tahr n chamois
once here it would decimate the deer as well,,more green rain
    have a nice day

Getting it here would destroy the deer farming industry. Anybody introducing it here woukd have to be insane.
There is also the risk of it mutating just as mad cow disease did, and then oising health risks to humans.

@muzza But in their case as they don't do any proper work it isn't fatal.
Mind you health and safety is trying its best to keep stupid people working. Natural selection used to sort them out.
Wanker senior civil servants and politicians don't really have any potentially fatal hazards no matter how much senior coppers say their is.

I think it has been shown to successfully transmit to primates, which is scary

There is a school of thought and theory out there that suggests micoplasmabovis was brought in on purpose to destroy the dairy industry and reduce the herds...... some of the dodgy crap going on now under guise of control is "interesting" to say the least......so much power in the hands of MPI it is scary.

The foot and mouth disaster in UK a few year back significantly reduced the farm subsidy obligation of that government. M.bovis in NZ poses a serious threat to economics of dairying. Same with the kiwifruit disease brought over here and other bio threats toexotic forests orchards and market gardens. Eg painted apple moth.
For social attacks look to drug imports and gangs.
For NZ lifestyle and traditions look to nazis, exremist religions, communists lefty globalists and extreme greens.
