Unfortunately that's a pretty common occurrence anywhere around the Central North Island , the rubbish that's dumped around Kinleith is especially bad. The problem is a lot of us are fuckwits and think this shit is ok. We'd occasionally be finishing a silage job late into the night/morning on Taharua & Clements Rd's and the amount of vehicles that head into Clements well after dark is surprising.
Looks to be goat skins or were they whole carcasses? If they are I would say they've been dumped as I haven't come across goats in the Clements area.
Looks like multiple Sika and a pig skin to me , there is a young fuckwit that lives on Clements mill rd
Sadly, this is not uncommon behaviour these days. Not just as in this example but including urban rubbish dumped on quieter roadsides, in parks, on farmers lands.
I despair to some degree. Where in hell did we go wrong on this in NZ ? Some years ago this hardly ever happened but I would say it's rampant now in places. Surely people are not so apathetic they cannot see how wrong this is. How do some of us even live with ourselves in condoning this ? I get so pissed off sometimes on my hikes around where I live I actually spend some time picking up shit to put it into rubbish bins. Some people are so damn lazy they can't even walk 50 yds from their vehicles to use a litter bin so crap is just dropped onto the roadside.
I wish I knew how to turn this around and motivate people to behave decently. I can't help thinking some serious arse kicking would help immensely but probably also starting with rubbish disposal education for schoolkids might be a necessary step.
And, no apologies for my rant. This is a bad situation.
