Anyone got any intel on if the drop went ahead, and if so, has anyone has seen any 1080 pills lying around on the bush floor? I want to go for a spring wander around with the dog if its safe.

Was in Clements two weeks ago and it hadn't been done yet. I heard a rumour it has been postponed until next year but can't back that up at all.

Thanks Dorkus. I just found this on the other forum from a couple of days ago
The pre-feed is all done,With the Kaipo river as the northern boundary which means jap creek is safe until next year. The poronui boundary and the Sika Lodge side are done and the 'man' tells me that weather permitting, the green stuff will go down on the 18th.
Prefeed is done drop is planed for early next week
Wont be safe for dogs for over 6 months. OSPRI warn on their current advise flyer to eat no meat from animals for 4 months. Forget your spring hunts and xmas hols unless you go hunt 2 km south of the Kaipo. Great way to look after the RHA. Thanks very much DoC OSPRI and NZDA!
