Thread: Collective Image

A while back I made a comment on here in regard to hunters hunting in lockdown....

Something along the lines of that being disappointing, ie "not helping our collective image" This was the response I got.

Never thought much of it at the time but let me relate my most recent story to you fellas.

Arrived at the Durville hut a few days back and found it well occupied with a couple from Tauranga and a family from Christchuch. Nice folk so decided to leave them to it and head across to the Sabine.

What a bloody mess !!

Bucket of ashes and empty beer boxes by the fire.



Even this box of crap under the bench !!



Had a look in the hut book and this was the last entry.....I thought to myself, what a sad state of affairs it must be when you have to scribble out your own names before you leave!!!! WTF



Now I'm picking that 95% of people on this forum would never leave a hut in such a state but if you happen to be reading this and are a member of 'the boyz' club. For christ sake do us all a favour and sort your shit out!!

Its not that hard to leave a hut looking like this. I know the next people will appreciate it !!
