I'm thinking of suppressing my 7mm08. The issue some people have with the suppressor being visible in the scope at lower power, is it a big issue when shooting? Or is it something that can be lived with?
Never had the issue personally. Depends how low your scope is sitting to your barrel, so if it is a issue just get higher rings. Job done! IMO saving those ears is a pro that can't be overlooked! We don't get another set of them.

Now that is a dumb idea!
You will see the end of the barrel/suppressor if your scope has good field of view and/or your barrel is long.
lifting the scope high enough to not see the barrel or suppressor would in most cases make the rifle all but unusable.

Nah mate its a 308, chop it to 16" and suppress with DPT - It will end up shorter.
