    The Culprit takes a hit!

So the big fella that has been servicing all the ladies around my goat spot finally met the hands of Dougie 😊

250yards with the savage, prone with lump of dirt front rest. If you zoom in you might see the small clearing I spotted him and his mate in. Went for a neck shot as this chap looked big and hairy, perfect for a rug.

Funnily enough after I saw him drop, the two goats I was originally stalking up my ridge came back for a look at what all the noise was about!! I standing snap shot another for the freezer.

I was supposed to be cutting tracks yesterday 😜

I gutted the nanny on the hill and dragged her back to my skinning tree, let the dog out and headed back up to find the billy.

Jet did an awesome job, leading me straight to the big boy. I discovered...I shot him straight through the ear!!!!

Excuse the language but I'm fucking chuffed with this effort, I'm finally slowing down, doing my calculations (not particularly scientific however) and shooting really well. This big boy has provided a shot load of dog food, he was incredibly heavy.

I dragged him down the hill and got some help from the farmer to lift him to the tree where I skinned him to my absolute best ability (took ages but it looks MINT!!) and then gutted him.

    Great day for me 😄

How do you find Jet been a GS when it comes to tracking/finding/scenting animals? We use to have a Shepard X Lab which I never took bush but always wondered how they would go

Well done Dougie. That gave it ear ache that it won't get over.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I was wondering as well. How do you get the stink out of their skin?
It seems to spread to anything that slightly touches it
