Hi everyone.
I'm brand new to this forum, so let me start by introducing myself. I'm Jeppe, 27 years old, lives in Denmark and I will be traveling to NZ (arriving in Auckland) on a 9-week trip this year from 7th of March and flying home 8th of may. The trip is a hunting/backpacking trip, where i will be traveling solo for the first 5 weeks of the trip, where i will be located on the north island.
A Kiwi friend of mine recommended me to make this post. Knowing that Kiwis are the most friendly and welcoming people i have ever come across, i want to ask if anyone in here could use an extra hunting buddy? I am open to anything. I do care about throphies, but I care more about the authentic experiences and having some good people to share good adventures with and create awesome memories. So if you could use a carrier for your pighunt (I love pig hunting btw.), or have an extra spot on a deer stalk, pest control or whatever - feel free to reach out here in this thread or via the contact info on my profile.
Once the hunt is over, i can assure you, that all the beers you can drink are on me!
More info:
- I have been to New Zealand before, on a 10-month working holiday, where i spent 5 months working at Kohaka station near Taumarunui and 2 months at Mesopotamia station. The remainder of the trip was spent hunting DOC land on south island.
- I have been granted a visitors firearms license, and will be bringing my own Tikka-rifle. I am also bringing all my necessary hunting and adventure gear, including camping gear.
- I have rented a car during my entire trip.
- I am in a good physical condition and is keen to work hard.
Wish you all the best and stay safe out there.
