If they turn up on you're section and you don't shoot 1 you're a wally.....worry about that 'grey' area after you've boned it out

No you can shoot it and eat it just fine. Discharging a firearm in a built up area could be a different story tho !

Quite a few years ago now a trailer carrying 30 or so deer turned over at the Stortford Lodge round about.

Some deer were killed but most escaped.

There was a big search for the escapees which also included the Police and Animal Control.

A mate of mine who lives only a block away from the crash site came home that night to see two hinds in his backyard.

My mate is a keen hunter and not one to ever let an opportunity like this pass by.

I believe a couple of well placed 22 subs through a silenced rifle despatched both hinds in quick succession.

At this stage my mate had not heard of the escaped deer in his neighbourhood.

Shortly after the carcases had been dressed and were hanging in the back of the garage there was a knock on the front door.

Two Policemen were there and explained they were looking for escaped deer and were going from door to door looking for them

They asked would my mate if he'd seen any and would he mind if they had a look around his place.

    He said help yourself.

They had a look around, found nothing, and went away happy.

That was the last he heard of this until it was later reported in the newspaper that all but two of the deer had been accounted for and it was a mystery as to where the missing two had ended up.

I understand they were staying with Kelvinator at that time and were planning on visiting BBQ later on.

    Cheers
    Pete

Apparently they came off the truck and straight over the fence. Wild as fuck, who would know what block they came from.
