    Deer hide tanner recommendations

    Hi all,

    Was fortunate enough to get my first deer today (see magazine), I wanted to get the hide preserved because it is my first (of hopefully many more to come)
    I’ve done some googling but I was hoping the forest of knowledge in the forum could give a few suggestions please

    If its a fallow skin then The Possum Factory at Cardiff in Taranaki do a great job with natural tanning , not chemicals

    I know a guy that does them on the north shore in Auckland if you are around there.
